In February 2021, thirty young artists from Antwerp, Brussels, and Ghent started working with dancer and choreographer Mohamed ‘Ben Fury’ Benaji (Eastman) and the film makers from Double Take Cinematic Circus. They met each other in a digital environment, tried some choreography and video, and built further on each other’s work. This led to an initial presentation via an online video, which was shown to the general public at the end of May during the live-stream event Sa Fe by Circus Zonder Handen (circus without hands), recorded at BRONKS.

Project C challenges young people, allows them to work together, inspire, and create. That is done from a qualitative cross-over between circus, dance, and film. During the summer of 2021, the young artists met each other in person for the first time and, after that, they resided at Mira Miro Ghent, BRONKS Brussels, and the Old Bath House Antwerp.

The result of this work can be seen for the first time in DE SINGEL on 6 November, today at BRONKS, and in Voo?uit in March 2022.
