‘We’ve come all this way to explore the moon, but the most important thing is that we’ve discovered the Earth,’ - William Anders, Apollo 8 astronaut.
Four contemporary dancers immerse themselves in the magical world of puppet theatre. A reverie which begins with humanoid creatures having to flee Planet Earth to look for an inhabitable planet. The astronauts fight against gravity, discover sparkling planets, and meet all sorts of strange beings. A dream-like narrative emerges from curiosity about life in a different universe.
Dance theatre meets science fiction. Performed to music by the deceased Japanese science fiction composer Isao Tomita.
