- Place La montagne magique, Brussel, BE
- Length55'
Deep in the vast forest lies a little village. Where gnomes live. Each one with its own little cottage, its own red bonnet with its own little bell, its little flavours and little neighbours. In the forest the winters are severe, really severe. And once the winter has dawned, everyone stays cosily indoors in the warm. Yet this winter sees the appearance of Casimir, with Mrs Casimir and their children. The gnomes couldn’t leave them out in the cold. Certainly not! But how should they welcome the Casimir family? And where? Oh yes, how? And where?
In a wondrous decor which takes you at once to the deepest depths of the forest, a story emerges about hospitality, jealousy, solidarity, pettiness, cravings, and weaknesses. All on show and it provides food for thought.
