• Place La montagne magique, Brussel, BE

A nightmare with the smell of blood and chlorine, a black comedy that exudes the disenchantments of the 'Free Willy' generation.

It is from behind the scenes at a water park – where shows with sea lions, dolphins and killer whales happen one after the other – that Collectif La Station invites us to take a closer look at a fine team of marine animal trainers.

Anke, Lars, Nicolaï and Kania are on the verge of experiencing a drama which will suddenly force them to glimpse the gloom behind the decor.
These characters full of contradictions suddenly see their most established beliefs and certainties collapse. Then open chasms as sensitive as they are cruel.

What happens when, in contemporary entertainment spaces like water-show parks, these workers – who owe it to themselves to control everything – find themselves facing an accident that brings them back to who they are: trainers of unstoppable strength?

PARC is a collective piece on human reactions to shock that places the spotlight on a society of entertainment that fascinates us as much as it disgusts us.
