Our goal is to get all children and young people between 4 and 18 years old in Dutch-language education in Brussels to experience theatre at least once. We welcome thousands of pupils to BRONKS every year through our school programme. This helps us reach that goal, step by step. 

Our school programme spans the entire school career, from kindergarteners to senior highschoolers. We offer theatre that creates friction, awakens curiosity, raises difficult questions. Not simple stories, but performances that resonate and occasionally provoke. Each performance comes with a tailored educational framework.

Through class introductions or educational materials, we challenge pupils to uncover, recognise, interpret and enjoy the ambiguous nature of art.

Because spectating is not self-evident – not for children, not for youngsters, not even for adults. The theatre gaze has become a rarity – distracted, uneasy, untrained. To spectate, we need to dare to stand still and learn to watch with curiosity. At BRONKS, we help young people do both. 

Because when we learn to spectate, we learn to think differently. And that has a lasting impact.
