BEYOND is a dynamic, rousing, but equally poetic circus and dance performance that tests, challenges and overcomes our limits. Choreographer Piet Van Dycke works with six professional artists who each specialise in a different discipline (ladder walking, acro-dance, acro-bike, partner acrobatics and (pole) dancing). On stage, they turn into limitless bridge-builders.

Using ladders of varying size and height, the performers build impressive constructions, like arch sculptures and turning cranes. They balance the ladders to create an exciting, wobbly playing field. They explore unknown heights, climbing, floating, braving a daring choreography. Every centimetre and every second counts. They seek out extremes and discover how far they can push each other. Physical dependence has never been this exciting.

BEYOND is about vulnerability, absurdity, but also the power of boundaries and how we can push them by working together. Together, we dance on the collective ladders of human imagination.
