A folk singer takes the stage, ready to give the concert of his life. His oeuvre consists of songs about his life, and he is known for such hits as “My dear mischievous dog”, “A difficult Christmas Eve with the family”, and “Oh dear spring, where are you?” 

Cheerfully, he sings his world-weary songs for grown-ups. But does everyone really want to hear about all that misery? And don't the songs all sound very alike? As the children in the room become restless, the theatre realises they have booked the wrong artist. The curators subtly try to get rid of the folk singer. But how do you stop someone who doesn't want to stop? Or who doesn't even realise what's going on?
