A little girl and her grandma, allies in life … and death.
When the grandmother dies, the child decides: they’ll never put me in a box. She grows up, lives her life, becomes a biologist and starts working in a lab. But slowly, promises from her childhood start rearing their heads.
How do we deal with our own disappearance? And when you’re a marionette, can you escape the inevitable: being locked away in a box at the end of the show?
With impressive control, two shadows play with cracks and openings, disappearing into them and taking us down to disruptive, worrying worlds. A simple, almost naïve story, that gently but irresistibly lets us descend into the depths of our existence. Marionettes that make us forget what they are, in order to make us think all the more deeply about who we are.
Une Tribu Collectif once again manages to touch our minds and hearts.
