Our festivals feature an extensive programme: extra performances, tailored contextualisation for professionals, and a clear focus. EXPORT/IMPORT FESTIVAL emphasises international youth theatre, while Volt FESTIVAL focuses on co-creative performing arts.

The biennial EXPORT/IMPORT FESTIVAL offers a smorgasbord of the most inventive, moving, funny, sharp creations of the moment. Together with our French-speaking colleagues of La montagne magique, we programme multilingual and wordless theatre for young audiences across language and country borders and age limits, on various Brussels stages. This unique mix of Belgian and international productions by established and new creators charms both our regular BRONKS-audience and international programmers, time and again.
Volt festival
A new festival – one with a particular focus, exclusively featuring performances with children or young people on stage.
Volt FESTIVAL is the new flagship festival by three theatres: hetpaleis, BRONKS and KOPERGIETERY. A travelling, co-creative performing arts festival where children, young people and adults all work together on every aspect of the performance – not just during the creative process, but also on stage.
The first edition took place in 2025 at hetpaleis in Antwerp, the second edition at BRONKS in April of 2026 and the third edition will take place at KOPERGIETERY in 2027.
