International programme
BRONKS makes its mark, even outside of Belgium. Our productions travel the world, and we are an established name in international networks around theatre for a young audience. BRONKS is also a valued partner in numerous European projects and co-creative programmes.

exit the room
EXIT THE ROOM brings together young theatre-makers in the field of theatre for young audiences through collaboration between several European theatres and festivals for young audiences. This European project started in 2022, after the lockdowns of COVID in 2020 and 2021, with the aim of supporting freshly graduated creators in the development of their (international) network - an essential catch-up after two years of closed doors and closed theatres. BRONKS will join the project from 2025.
This initiative is supported by the European Union's ERASMUS+ programme.

babel - or the art of listening
Through BABEL, children and youngsters join academics and performing artists from all around the globe to investigate whether artistic language can be used as a universal language to create high-quality performances for children. Through a series of artistic encounters and workshops, artists from eleven European and five non-European countries develop methodologies. The artistic results from these multilingual co-creative programmes are presented across a network of eleven festivals and three presentation locations.
EXPORT/IMPORT FESTIVAL 2025 marks the end of this project.
