Location
Alter is a dialogue between a dancer and a drummer without drums.
Together, the duo explores the different stages of clay – from dry and dusty to wet and smooth. As they mould and knead, they build and dismantle landscapes. Cities, roads, mountains and rivers briefly emerge, only to disappear again. In the pure, raw earth, they dig for answers to their questions: how do we live together in this world? What is our relationship with the earth? And what traces do we leave behind?
