Hostile
Location
Find water or die.
In a hot desert, a man wanders around. He is looking for water – his life depends on it. The sun burns mercilessly and batters the landscape with its heat. Its inhabitants, hardened by loneliness and blind to everything except for the law of survival of the fittest, are more of a danger than a salvation.
Hostile emulates the style of the spaghetti western, letting humour grind and turning the cliches of the genre on their heads, using puppetry that plays with scale and proportion. Both alarming and comical, but mostly endlessly inventive and euphoric from start to finish.
