Whether it’s organising your own events, coming up with a new workshop or simply having a say in the programme – YOU(th) TAKE OVER!
BRONKS offers opportunities to make your mark on our programme and on Brussels – from first idea to full realisation. With the help of professionals, you’ll bring your concept to life, overcome your first production challenges, tackle budgets and dig deeper into our programme or a performance. young queers
BRONKS actively supports LGBTQIA+ young people in exploring and developing their identity and gender expression.
With the theatre as a meeting point, queer youth in Brussels can grow, experiment, and connect with one another at their own pace – with no conditions or pressure to perform or present. The aim is to help build the confidence to express themselves as queer individuals – in society, to family, to friends, or to an audience – if and when they choose to do so.
Young Queers organises weekly closed gatherings, as well as two public events per season. This allows youngsters to work on self-confidence and expression, allowing space for intimacy without any pressure to be publicly visible. BRONKS offers an unconditional free space, free of homophobia, transphobia or queerphobia.

spill the tea
Spill the Tea is a multidisciplinary, open art collective that organises immersive exhibitions.
It consists of young people, including up-and-coming artists of various backgrounds. Spill the Tea means saying what’s on your mind. Sensitive topics and taboos become easier to discuss at artistic events through performance, music, installations and visual art. The emphasis is on interaction between the audience, the artist, and their work.
The lubricant for these discussions is a hot cup of herbal tea, brewed by a master tea brewer. BRONKS leaves the entire organisation up to the youngsters: they create their own promo materials, organise volunteers, learn to manage finances, and create a safe(r) environment based on their own needs.

bronks jury
Help pick performances for our youth programme. As part of the BRONKS jury, you’ll be sent out to watch undiscovered performances across the country to find out which hidden gems we need to add to our programme. No prior experience necessary. Learn to develop a sharp eye and a critical view by sharing with peers and making decisions in conversation with programmers, dramaturges and theatre creators.
