JUIST IS JUIST

BRONKS applies the principles and agreements around fair practices drafted by Juist is Juist in full.

BRONKS also endorses the 10 dimensions of good governance through a detailed set of internal regulations and an accompanying mandate schedule.

About juist is juist

Juist is Juist is an organisation that defines clear and fair principles and practices for collaboration in the arts sector, for all disciplines and all parties. Arts organisations and arts workers must be able to work fairly: through proper funding, correct remuneration, safe working conditions and transparent collaborations. Juist is Juist helps us translate good intentions into concrete practices through clear advice and tailored tools, which BRONKS makes grateful use of.

How does BRONKS apply these principles?

Each collaboration starts with an open conversation about remuneration, expenses and time investment, all in line with current wage scales for the sector. After a clear explanation of the options, artists get to choose how they get paid. Through clear prior agreements, we make sure to establish an artistic collaboration that is fair and correct for both parties.

Within BRONKS, two internally elected confidential counsellors are available as the designated points of contact in case of transgressive behaviour or any other sensitive topic you wish to discuss. They help support a safe, healthy organisational culture. Fair practices, good governance and psychosocial wellbeing are all deeply rooted into our daily work.

We also continue to make conscious efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, with specific care taken around our purchasing policy and our building management. We strive for a society that is socially and sustainably balanced.
