Your visit

My child is under the minimum age, can they still attend?

All our performances are accessible from a specified minimum age. The minimum age is set by the artists themselves and is the result of careful consideration based on expertise, content and performance type. While we understand that every child is different, we make no exceptions. And while we love babies (especially when they’re asleep), we’re afraid they are not welcome inside the theatre. If you try to attend with underage children, they may be refused entry. You can make use of our free daycare facility.

I can no longer attend the performance. Can I cancel my ticket?

Purchased tickets cannot be refunded. You can use Ticketswap to resell any spare tickets.

I will be late for the performance. Can I still enter?

We will not admit latecomers to the theatre once the performance has started. Please arrive well on time.

Can I take pictures during the performance?

Theatre is best experienced live rather than through a screen. Taking photos during performances is not permitted as it is distracting for both the artists and fellow audience members. Please turn off your phone or switch it to flight mode during the performance.

I have lost my tickets, now what?

Did you receive your tickets via email? Make sure to check your spam folder. You can also find an overview of your purchased tickets in the Ticketmatic app. If you still experience issues, please get in touch at info@bronks.be or 02/229 53 00.

Does the theatre have lockers?

You can find small lockers to store your personal items near the reception desk. Please bring a €1 coin if you wish to use these.

I forgot something at BRONKS. Do you keep lost & found items?

Yes, you can pick up any forgotten items at our ticket desk on Wednesday afternoon from 13.00 to 17.30, or you can call us at 02/229 53 00 to make an appointment during opening hours. Please don’t wait too long: every now and then, we donate our stash of lost & found items to Spullenhulp.

Can I choose my seat?

BRONKS works with general admission, meaning no specific seats are reserved. If you want a front-row seat (e.g. for medical reasons), please get in touch at info@bronks.be or 02/229 53 00.

Can I eat or drink in the theatre?

Eating and drinking during the performance and in the theatre are not permitted. However, you are most welcome at our cafe before and after the performance.

The performance is sold out. Is there a waiting list?

Yes! You can register for the waiting list through the performance web page. You’ll receive an email if tickets become available. The digital waiting list closes one day prior to the performance. You can also join the returns queue in person one hour before the start of the performance.

I’m on the waiting list for a holiday workshop. How can I see what place I am on the waiting list?

Year-round programme

When can I register for the year-round workshops?

You can register your interest in the year-round programme at any time via the registration form. Candidates for the available places are selected at the start of the summer.

Can I get a tax certificate?

Yes, please let us know you want a tax certificate when you register. We will prepare the certificate by January/February. If you have not received your tax certificate by March, please get in touch at info@bronks.be.

Schools

Why can’t I order tickets directly?

As we want to give all schools and classes a fair chance to attend a theatre performance, we work with a request system. We kindly ask you to submit your request by 1 June. Once all requests have been received, we will create a balanced and fair allocation.

Can I submit a request after 1 June?

You can still submit a request online after 1 June. However, your request will fall outside the scheduling process that ensures a balanced and fair allocation. If there are not enough places available, your class will be placed on a waiting list.

Can I change the number of attending pupils later?

Deviations from the indicated number of pupils must be reported at the start of the school year. If there are any further changes afterwards, these must be declared at least one month before the performance date. The invoice will be based on the number of pupils indicated in advance. For kindergarten and primary schools, a maximum deviation of 10% is permitted.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Send an email to scholen@bronks.be or call 02/219 9921 to cancel your school reservation. Cancellations must be made at least 2 months before the performance date. Any later cancellations will not be refundable.

What time do the doors open?

The reception desk opens 30 minutes before the start of the performance. The theatre doors open a few minutes before the performance starts. Make sure to arrive on time!

Can we consume our snacks and drinks at BRONKS?

Having a quick snack at our reception before a performance is no problem. If you want time and space to eat your lunch box here, please get in touch in advance to discuss options.

We’ll be late. Now what?

Please let us know as soon as possible. If you want to notify us last minute, please call our general number 02/229 53 00. In some cases, we can hold the performance start for a short while, but once the performance has started, we will not admit latecomers. Please make sure to leave on time and take into account any traffic delays.

Can we take pictures?

No, using smartphones or cameras during the performance is not permitted. If you want a group photo, you can take one after the performance. If you want production images, please request them via info@bronks.be

Can we eat and drink in the theatre?

No, eating and drinking in the theatre itself is not permitted.

Can our pupils choose where they sit?

No, since our performances are usually sold out, we will guide pupils to empty seats. We do this to facilitate quick entry and to make sure no seats are left empty.
